General Poi & Wellbeing Workshop
Discover the science behind how poi is good for your health in this presentation and hands-on workshop. Learn about the history of poi, the clinical research on poi and wellbeing, plus attempt poi moves that will challenge your body and mind in a fun group session that will have everyone twirling to the beat.
Suitable for: all ages and abilities.
Suggested duration: 1 hour

Facilitator Training
Learn how to lead fun, safe, and engaging poi sessions to improve wellbeing for your clients. In this training you will learn the fundamentals of playing poi, how to create fun and challenging poi exercises to teach, and best practices around preparing for, structuring, and facilitating poi sessions.
Suitable for: facilitators in all contexts (e.g. pre-school, primary school, aged care, hospital, community centres, etc.)
Suggested duration: 1 to 2 hours

SpinPoi Certification Course for Aged Care
Join the global community of Certified SpinPoi Instructors. This course will cover everything you need to know to confidently implement and/or lead poi sessions in aged care, and during the course you will complete the majority of the certification requirements. Learn more about the certification.
Suitable for: those who are working in, or would like to work in, aged care
Suggested duration: 6 hours over 2 days

Keynote Speaker
From professional staff conferences to TED talks, Dr. Kate Riegle van West has inspired audiences across the globe with her groundbreaking research and award winning presentations. Kate mixes personal experience, clinical research, and rich images and videos to tell the tale of going from circus performer to scientific researcher to entrepreneur with refreshing honesty and vigor. This session can also include a hands-on poi workshop.
